October 20, 2007 We had a great camp reunion with about a dozen campers and several counselors. The weather was ideal: we played games in front of the Kennedy School of Government, peeked at the Head of the Charles Regatta, shared some reflections on camp as well as favorite songs like "Charlie on the MTA" and "Country Roads." Fun for all! |
A big welcome
to Angali and Carlos |
October 2007 We have added two new members to our Board, Angali GUPTA, who works with ethics in the business world, and a former camper and tutee, Carlos CEDEÑO, who helps place students of color in the business world. They bring great skills and commitment to the Board and the work of EV. |

February 2007 Thanks to a generous grant from the Florence V. Burden Foundation, the Tutoring Program has just been improved by the addition of four brand-new laptop computers, two Macs and two PCs, linked to a wireless router. Tutor/tutee pairs will be able to access homework online, as well as do research on the Internet and work on papers or other projects. Many thanks to the Burden Foundation! |
February 2007 Angelica 'Angie' Delgado has joined our Board of Directors. She was a camper with us in Vermont in the early 80s and her two sons have been EV campers and tutees. Joey is now at Assumption College and Kevin has already been accepted at three universities for next fall. Angie has been working at Roxbury Community College for a number of years and is finishing her degree this May. Welcome, Angie! |
