EV held a very interactive and effective Tutor Training Session at the Harvard Catholic Student Center on February 27. It had been well prepared by the three Coordinators among the tutors and dealt with many of the problems tutors encounter with their tutees and how experienced tutors have been able to deal with them. The sharing also consolidated the sense of community among the tutors. |

February 2007 Thanks to a generous grant from the Florence V. Burden Foundation, the EV Tutoring Program has just been improved by the addition of four brand-new laptop computers, two Macs and two PCs, linked to a wireless router. Tutor/tutee pairs will be able to access homework online, as well as do research on the Internet and work on papers or other projects. Many thanks to the Burden Foundation! |
